If your local newspaper publishes a story about organ donation or transplantation,
the editor will probably be interested in hearing about LifeSharers.
It's easy to send the editor a short letter describing LifeSharers. Most newspapers
let you do it from their web site. If your letter gets published it may attract
lots of new members. In addition, once your letter gets published, email it
to your friends and family and colleagues. Even if you have previously written
or spoken to them about LifeSharers, it's possible they forgot to join, so once
they see your letter, it will serve as a reminder.
The following letters were written by LifeSharers members, and they are good examples
of what editors like:
Extra Bilingual Community Newspaper - May 9, 2008
Chicago Sun-Times - February 3,
Orlando Sentinel - January 3,
Port Clinton News Herald -
January 22, 2004
Corpus Christi Caller-Times
- October 16, 2003
U.S. News & World Report -
February 17, 2003
Contra Costa Times - November
